Mentoring @ JMT
Our Music Mentor Program pairs experienced band students with younger musicians to build skills, confidence, and community. Mentors from Clearview as well as older students at JMT serve as positive role models by helping with fundamentals, rehearsal habits and encouragement, while mentees gain support from someone who has been in their shoes.
This program fosters leadership, teamwork, and responsibility - strengthening not only individual musicians, but our entire band family. Through mentorship, students learn that music is not just about playing notes, but about supporting one another and growing together. Sixth grade students are welcome to join as mentors this spring!
